Wir sind für Sie da.
MSC obviously sold as many tickets as possible but do not have the resources either on or off board to cope with that amount of people. This was our 14th cruise but the first and last with MSC.
3 hour wait to embark with no information/reason.(we knew there had been problems with electricity but someone from the crew should heave been there to inform the waiting crowds of how long they would have to wait and maybe even provide water. Buffet (both) total chaos - waited 20 minutes to get a cup! no containers for jam - no toast etc etc. Dining room dinner disappointing- scan your own menu? where are we? McDonalds? (we did get a paper menu but had to ask) Breakfast in the dining room - times very short and differences between the opening times on the app and the opening times on the paper. Tried breakfast room service - received incorrect items. Chaos trying to get off the ship and on a bus at Livarno - had to give up and go back on board. Booked tickets to use the shuttle in Marseille - again total chaos. Took a taxi. When we tried to get a refund I was told by an unfriendly member of the excursion team (Dominique) it wasnt possible. I insisted and eventually got a refund. Also on day 2 asked a staff member at the small excursion desk for the times of our Tunis excursion. She told us we would get our tickets in the evening. I said I would just like to know now please. She said 08:30 - it was 10:30! We didnt get back to the ship until 16:00 - no lunch or water. If we had known we would have taken something. Almost everyday the drill in the afternoon. Bars closed no peace in the cabins. Theater shows very poor compared to other ships - very samey samey. You obviously sold as many tickets as possible but do not have the resources either on or off baord to cope with that amount of people. This was our 14th cruise but the first and last with MSC.
